Graduate Professional Council Increases Support for Tiger Pantry with $10,000 Donation
The Graduate Professional Council (GPC) at the University of Missouri has passed a resolution for a one-time $10,000 donation to Tiger Pantry, increasing its total contribution for fiscal year 2025 to $17,000. This decision follows a Fall 2024 MU Engage Survey, which found that 84% of Tiger Pantry patrons are graduate and professional students.
“This donation demonstrates that GPC is committed to addressing food insecurity by prioritizing the basic needs of graduate and professional students and linking academic success to overall well-being,” said Jessica Osaze, GPC president.
GPC continues to advocate for student welfare and is considering a designated budget allocation for Tiger Pantry in FY26.
