Director of National Affairs
Umanda Abeysinghe is a doctoral student in Biological Engineering at the University of Missouri. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Peradeniya in her home country of Sri Lanka. Her research leverages machine learning to enhance flood modeling and predictive capabilities. Umanda is the current President of the College of Engineering Graduate Students Association (CEGSA) and serves as the Director of National Affairs for the Graduate Professional Council (GPC) – (gpc.legislative@missouri.edu)
